Jim Carrey et Ewan mcgregor ont été décorés récemment de la médaille des Arts et des Lettres par Frédéric Mitterrand, le ministre de la Culture français. Nous noterons que ces deux acteurs sont anglophones et ne parlent pas un mot de français. Si cette médaille honore les Lettres, ce ne sont donc certainement pas les Lettres françaises qui sont honorées par cette remise de médailles. Dans ces conditions, nous serions en droit de nous demander pourquoi la France décore-t-elle de tels personnages ?
